About Rainas Polytechnic Institute
Rainas Polytechnic Institute is one of the three constituent institutes of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) located at Gandaki Province. The institute currently runs diploma program in Forestry Science and Agriculture (Plant Science). There are 168 students currently at First Year and Second Year of three academic years.
Other than this, the institute is also conducting short period training programs each of 390 teaching hours to 20 selected candidates of this region. We have successfully completed Mobile Repairing Training, Village Animal Health Worker Training, Building Electrician Training, and Junior Plumbing Training. The graduates of these trainings are undergoing for national level skill test examination. These programs have produced skilled manpower and many of them had already secured national and foreign jobs. Similarly, other 4 different training programs targeted to women and underprivileged groups are running in the different regions of Lamjung and Gorkha district.
The institute is equipped with staffs and good management committee; thus has been able to attract the students significantly from within, and neighboring districts as well as from all over the country. We, from the institute sides, are aiming to excel the institute in every departments of academic excellence.
